Pentecost 2007

Sermon by Bill Goff

Here we are brethren, at the end of the spring feasts, and finally arriving at “our Feast”

The Feast of Pentecost.

And once again, we’re having back-to-back Sabbaths, with yesterday, the weekly Sabbath being day 49 of the count and today being day 50. These are two very significant days for the church of God.

Day 49 is a very important day for us because day 49 represents:

The Completion of the Building of the Church of God

And today day 50:

The “Last Day” of the count, the High Holy Day of Pentecost

Now Pentecost is kind of a peculiar feast, for one thing, it has a number of different names.  The feast of Pentecost is also called the feast of Firstfruits, and the feast of Weeks or feast of Sabbaths.

And to make it a little more peculiar, Pentecost is the only feast that is not held on a set day. You have to “count” to arrive at the feast of Pentecost, in fact, that’s what the word “Pentecost” means, “Fiftieth” or “count fifty”

Now as we mentioned before, this particular year our Creator has positioned the spring feast days a little different. This particular year we are not only ending the spring feasts with back-to-back Sabbaths, but this year if you remember, we also started the spring feasts with back-to-back Sabbaths.

This year our Creator had us starting to count to Pentecost right at the very beginning of the spring feasts, on the First Day of Unleavened Bread.

Our Creator wanted us looking to, and focusing on, “our day”, the “last day” of the count, the day of Pentecost right from the beginning of the spring feasts, right from the First Day Of Unleavened Bread.

Now there is a lot of significance in all of this. There is a reason why our Creator wanted us to begin counting to and focusing on the “Last Day”, the day of Pentecost right from the beginning of the spring feasts. We began to address some of this in the previous message.

We spoke last time of how the Feast of Unleavened bread pictures us coming out of sin. We talked about how that week of not eating leavened bread but substituting it with unleavened bread represented putting sin out of our lives by putting Christ into our lives.

We also spoke last time about how the feast of Unleavened Bread only lasts for seven days or one week. But that “one-week” represents the entire time that we are members of the church, the Body of Christ. We only had to stop eating the physical leavened bread (which represented sin) for one week, and we only had to eat the physical unleavened bread (which represented Christ) for one week, but after that week is over we have to continue to put sin out of our lives and Christ into our lives, the things that those physical things represented.

That’s what the count is all about, and that’s why it starts during the week of Unleavened Bread. The count represents the period of time from when we are first called, when we are baptized, when we had that bad nature and those deceitful hearts of stone, till the time we have a changed nature and a changed heart.

Remember, “Day 50” the “Last Day” of the count, the Day of Pentecost is the day the “Wave Loaves” were offered. And they were waved high over the priest’s head, representing something that will eventually take place up in heaven, not down here on this earth.

Now those wave loaves had to be baked, representing a finished, unchangeable product. But before they could be baked, they had to be prepared with all the proper ingredients, and they had to be completely ready for baking by day 49. Yes, all the preparation had to be “Complete” the day before the day of Pentecost. If you haven’t heard that last message, you can request a cassette tape of it or pull it up on our Web site.

Now I hope that today, we will be able to grasp more of what our God, the Creator of the heavens the earth and all things therein, is trying to teach us. I hope that today we will get a better understanding of what our Creator is trying to show us, and make us (His people) aware of, as we keep these back-to-back Sabbaths.

And I also hope that we will understand and realize something else. I hope we will understand that what we are going to talk about today concerning Pentecost, the feast of the firstfruits of God, doesn’t only concern the members of the churches of God, but also concerns every human being that is alive on this Earth.

The feast of Pentecost is the feast of the firstfruits, those who will have their part in the first resurrection.

But the events that this feast pictures will be transpiring on a Global Stage and during a time that many other events will be taking place Simultaneously all around this World, events that will be directly affecting every person on the face of the entire earth.

We are approaching the time brethren when all the current forms of Government from around this world, all the Dictatorships and all the different Monarchies and Democracies and all the different Rulers around this world, are going to be replaced, yes, are going to be replaced by another form of Government.

They’re going to be replaced by the Government of the Kingdom of God.

We are approaching the time when all the false religions teachers and all the deceived and misguided rulers and instructors and administrators from around this World, are go ing to be replaced by others. Others who will be placed into positions of leadership and ruler ship all over this Earth, by Jesus Christ Himself.

We are approaching the time when Jesus the Christ, the One who was born to be a King, will be establishing His Kingdom up in heaven with His saints.

Yes, establishing, setting up His Kingdom up in heaven with His saints, His called, and chosen, and faithful servants, and He will be preparing them to return to this Earth with Him, to reign over this World and rule it with Him for a thousand years.

We are living at the very end of this age brethren, the time that the Scriptures refer to and speak about throughout both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, as the “Latter Days”, sometimes referred to as the “Latter End” and others times referred to as the “Latter Times”.

But make no mistake about it; we are living at that time. It’s the time that our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ warned us over and over, to watch for, and to be ready and prepared for.

Brethren, Extraordinary and Gigantic changes are approaching mankind. We are approaching the time that the most Colossal events in the history of man, are going to take place. This evil and untoward World is coming to a close.

This dying, suffering, and polluted evil age that we are presently living in, is coming to an end and about to be replaced by the coming utopia of The Kingdom Of God.

Now don’t misunderstand, we are not talking about the end of the World here. Some hearing this message are probably on their way out the door. Some foolishly classify this as “Doom & Gloom”.

Brethren, Nothing could be further from the truth.

It’s not this world that is coming to an end, but this age. This evil age of Satan’s is coming to a close. And that, is a good thing! All the suffering, all the pain, and all the heartaches of this age are soon to end.

There is no “Doom & Gloom” in today’s message brethren. What we are going to be discussing here today concerns the “Completion” of the building of the church of God. Yes, the Completion of the building of the church that Jesus began to build nearly 2,000 years ago.

What we are going to be discussing here today concerns the Completionof the first phase of the Master plan of God, The completion of the harvesting of the rest of the firstfruits of God, represented by the spring feasts that will Culminate on the “Last Day”, our day, the Day of Pentecost.

What we will be discussing here today brethren concerns the events that will end this present evil age that we are now living in. It involves the placing into office, and the organizing into positions, all the future rulers and teachers that have qualified, yes, qualified to reign with Jesus Christ down here on this Earth.

Yes, the Glorification of the saints of God, and the time that Jesus Christ Himself, will be handing out their rewards, (which will be given to every man according as his works,) is rapidly approaching.

Today’s message is quite in season brethren, it concerns the increase of His government and peace that is soon to be established upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom.

Lets go to John 18:36.

This is where Jesus was brought before Pilate. And Pilate asked Jesus if He was a King?

“Art thou the King of the Jews”? Pilot asked Jesus did not deny that He was a king; in fact He told Pilate: “To this end He was born, To be a king.”

But He also told Pilate something else concerning His Kingdom.

Jn:18:36: Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

That word “hence” means = here, or of this side. The Hebrew equivalent is “hither”. The opposite is “thither” or “The other side”. We’re going to hear these words a few times in today’s message.

Jesus told Pilate that His Kingdom was not of this world. (KOSMOS) and that Greek word includes the entire physical universe. Jesus told Pilate that the Kingdom that He was born to be King over, was not of this world. And it is still not of this world, in fact, His Kingdom hasn’t even been established yet; It hasn’t even been set up yet. How could it be? After all many of its top leaders, many of those who will be placed into top positions to rule this earth with Jesus, are still in the grave, like King David & the twelve Apostles.

It’s a little hard to establish something when the majority of those who will be placed into positions of leadership and ruler ship, are still asleep in the grave.

(Lets go to Mat. 19:28) We need to realize something that is very important.

This is where Jesus told the Apostles that they would sit upon twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. We in the church are well aware of this, but what I want to bring our attention to is “when”? When will this take place? When will the Apostles take those positions and sit on those 12 Thrones? And what about Jesus, is He sitting on His throne now?

Mt:19:28: And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration (when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory,) ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Those thrones are not occupied yet.

Regeneration means = to form anew, renovation, in this case the Greek here means “spiritual” renovation. It has to do with reproduction, a new birth. It has to do with the coming state of the whole creation, its

equivalent with the restoration of all things spoken of in Acts 3:21 which will not occur until the Son of Man shall come in all His glory.

That “regeneration” has not yet occurred, Jesus is not sitting on His throne yet, His kingdom has not yet been established, but will soon be set up at the end of the church age. When corruptible will put on incorruptible, and mortal will put on immortality.

Brethren, we are still living in the church age. Jesus is still busy building His church, building His house.

The remainder of the stones (us) are still being cut and shaped and fashioned, down at the quarry, down here on this earth, “hither” down here on this side.

But that time is almost over, that work is almost completed. We are NOT living at the time that Jesus began to build His church. We are living at the time when He is going to complete the building of His church. Day

49 of the count represent the completion of the building of the church of God, (Lev 23 verifies that & we’ll go there in a bit.) And the final day 49 brethren, is rapidly approaching.

(Lets go to Isaiah please) Isaiah 9:7.

We are told to pray “Thy Kingdom Come” but before the Kingdom of God can come to this earth, the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, has to be established up in heaven. I hope to make this clear today brethren.

Lets start in V. 6 of Isaiah 9

Isa:9:6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Our God, does everything decently and orderly. He planned out His creation a long time ago and He’s working His plan out “step” by “step”, one step at a time. Part of His plan has already been accomplished.

That Child was born, That Son was given; That was Jesus Christ of course. But the government that shall be upon His shoulder is not here yet, in fact, it hasn’t even been set up yet, but as we shall see, it’s soon to be.

Isa:9:7: Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

“To order it & to establish it.”

If you research the Hebrew meaning of those two words used here “order” & “establish” you will find that there meaning is = To erect, to set up, to meet, to establish, which means to place into an office, or position, and to ordain.

The Kingdom of God is soon to come to this earth. Jesus Christ is going to reign on this earth for 1,000 years. We in the church know this quite well because the feast of Tabernacles, which we keep every year, pictures that time.

But Jesus will not be returning to this earth alone, He will be returning to take charge of this earth and to rule it with his saints, like the Apostle Paul spoke in 1Thes 3:13 of our Lord Jesus Christ coming with all His saints.

(Lets take a look at that) In 1 Ths.3 Paul is admonishing the brethren to “Stand fast in the Lord”

In 1Thes 3:2 Paul says that they sent Timothy to establish and comfort them concerning their faith.

In verse 10 Paul says that they have been praying night & day exceedingly that they might perfect that which is lacking in their faith.

Verse 12 that they should increase in love towards all men so Jesus could establish their hearts unblamable in holiness before the Father at His return.

1Thes:3:13: To the end He may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Paul was praying that anything that might be lacking in the brethrens faith would be perfected, and he was telling them that Jesus wants to establish their hearts unblamable before the Father at His coming with all His saints.

The word “saint” means = Pure, blameless, unspotted. That’s who Jesus will be returning to this earth with.

His saints.

Jude the Lords brother spoke in Jude 1:14 of how Enoch the seventh from Adam also knew this when he prophesied that the Lord would be coming with ten thousands of His saints.

Lets go to Rev 19 and verify who these saints are that Christ will be returning to this earth with. Some in the past have thought these to be angels, but the book of revelations makes it quite clear who these saints are.

Lets start in Rev 19:11

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and true, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

This is going to take place about the time the wrath of God is poured out on the earth. We know this because that is when the heavens will be “opened as a scroll when it is rolled together,” like it says in Rev 6:14.

(Remember, the Bible always interprets itself)

12: His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13: And he was clothed with vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. (This of course is Jesus Christ, returning to this earth on a white horse)

Now lets see “who” will be returning with Him.

14: And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, (So He’s coming back with an army, but who is this army?) clothed in fine linen, white and clean. (This army which were in heaven that followed Him is His elect, His Bride, those in His church who have made themselves ready. There the ones that will be clothed in fine linen, white & clean. You just have to back up to verses 7 & 8 to verify this.)

Rv:19:7: Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

8: And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Jesus will not be returning to this earth alone. He will be returning to this earth to take charge of it and to

rule it with His saints. This battle that we are reading about here is pictured by the Feast of Trumpets.

But please realize that His elect, His Bride, His servants, His firstruuits, His saints, Are not going to be resurrected on The Feast of Trumpets.

We are not going to be headed up to heaven to meet Christ in the air on the feast of Trumpets brethren. On Trumpets we are going to be headed back down to this earth with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords Jesus Christ, and this time, His servants will fight.

Lets read just a few more verses here in Rev 19 so we will be able to better understand the time line of events that will be transpiring as the Kingdoms of this world are replaced by the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ.

In the past the church has had a vague understanding of how the return of Christ to this earth will play out.

We always quote and bring to mind 1Cor:15:52: where it says:

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

We always assumed this to be on the feast of Trumpets, but that is not so. Christ is not going to be resurrecting His saints from the grave in the middle of a battle against the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies. All that is going to be taking place on the feast of Trumpets, (plural)

The dead in Christ will be raised from their graves and those alive will be changed in the twinkling of an eye at the sound of a single “Trumpet”. God has been calling His heads; His elect with a single Trumpet from the get go. Just go to Numbers 10:4 to see that.

Num:10:1: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Num:10:2: Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

Num:10:3: And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Yes, trumpets (plural) were blown for assembling the whole assembly, for the journeying of the camp and even for going into battle. But trumpets were never blown to gather God’s elect.

And now V. 4.

Num:10:4: And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.

“princes” 5387 in Strong’s = Exalted one, King, Governor, Ruler, chosen ones, elected.

“heads” 7218 in Strong’s = priest, head, chief officer, the uniquely finest, which alone was fit for the service of God, speaking of the “officers of the Temple”

We’re speaking of God’s elect here brethren, His firstfruits. The ones who are going to be raised and inspected on the “Last Day” of the count, the Day of Pentecost.

Now continuing in Rv. 19 (to better understand the time line of events.)

Rv:19:14: And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Rv:19:15: And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Rv:19:16: And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Dropping down to verse 19

Rv:19:19: And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. (His saints)

His army is going to be there. His army consists of those who will be clothed in fine lined, white & clean.

The fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Those who have made themselves ready and have qualified to rule with Him.

Those who have the proper ingredients, like we saw last time, a contrite spirits and a contrite heart.

Will we be there brethren? Will be returning with Jesus to this earth?

Will we be among those who have qualified to rule with Christ? Those who have been arrayed in fine linen clean and white? Riding on those white horses?

That’s our Calling brethren! But it’s also our choice!

We need to choose wisely, lets go to Luke 14:15. We went there last time and we need to go back there again.

We’re living at the end of the age brethren, a time when the coming Kingdom of God is not on the minds of very many people, and many people are going to be taken by surprise.

In today’s day & age, most people are preoccupied with other things. They have other interests, other priorities, other cares, that concern them a whole lot more, then concerning themselves with being ready for the return of Christ.

Ready to meet Him in the clouds and head over to the sea of glass to partake of that Great Supper that is sitting there waiting for us.

Luke 14:15: And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

16: Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:

He is speaking of the Father here brethren. It’s the Father who has called each of us unto this great supper.

17: And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.

That’s now brethren.

This great supper is a wedding that has been prepared for us, And Its Ready now, Do we realize that?

When it comes to being ready, being unblemished & unspotted, we’re always quick at pointing the finger at

others, and pointing out their faults, their spots, their blemishes, but what about us? Our faults?

18: And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.

19: And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.

Many are called but few are chosen. Because many are mesmerizing & hypnotizing by the most powerful lure in the entire universe, “The Cares Of This World”.

The cares of this world, the cares of a world that is soon to pass away, soon to be replaced by another world, “The World Tomorrow”

(The Father is not happy with those who ask to be excused)

Dropping down to V. 24

24: For I say unto you, that none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

The cares of this world, is not worth forfeiting our calling over brethren.

Unprecedented changes are soon going to be taking place, and not only down here on this Earth, but also up in heaven on that sea of glass. Brethren, the cares of this world, the lusts of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life are not worth giving up our crown over.

This world that we are now living in is not worth it.

We need to stop here and understand something concerning this world that we are presently living in; we need to realize just where this world that we are now living in, came from.

(Lets go to Daniel please)

If you come into the picture in the middle of the movie it kind of hard to understand exactly what is going on.

Well how about us today? We’ve come into the picture just before its conclusion. We’ve come into this world just prior to its replacement.

We are living in a different world, a different Kingdom than the one that will be coming down from heaven.

This is not the Kingdom of God down here on this Earth today.

Today we are living in a world whose system began a long time ago, do we realize that brethren? This world

that we are living in today, the way that it operates, the way that it has been fashioned and molded, the way

that it is rapidly moving and advancing and changing, began a long time ago, Back In Babylon.

The world or system that we are living in today is nothing new. It’s actually historic, if we can put it that way.

The world that we are living in today began to be formed back in the days of King Nebuchadnezzar. Now it has went through many different phases, with many different world-ruling Empires, and many different

Dictators and Leaders and Dynasties and Governments, But it’s still the same exact system that began to be built millennia ago.

And please understand that it’s a system that not only has been around for a long time, but it’s a system that is still in its growing stage, and soon to reach its full development. This world sys tem that began to show it face back with King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, hasn’t even stood up on its feet yet, but that day is rapidly approaching, and soon will reach its climax of total World Dominance.

Remember our God knows “The End From The Beginning” And He wants to share that with us. In the book of Daniel God outlines a world ruling system that began back with King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. That outline will not only walk you through history showing the world ruling Empires that have already came and went, like the Babylonian Empire, Persian Empire, Greece & Macedonia under Alexander the Great and more, but will also show you history written in advance, “Prophesy” that’s history that has already been written, but has not been fulfilled yet, but soon to be.

The last world ruling physical empire outlined in the book of Daniel has not stood up yet, but it’s coming.

Now the time allowed to give this message, doesn’t allow us to read through the entire account concerning this in the book of Daniel.

But if you are not familiar with the story in Daniel chapter 2 concerning these world-ruling Empires, and the final one that is about to stand up on its two feet and its ten weak toes made of mixture of both iron & clay, then you need to put reading that story on you priority list. It’s of utmost importance.

It has much more importance than “American Idle” or “Which football team won the game last night”.

Lets look at one thing now in Daniel, because it has to do with “when” when these Extraordinary and Gigantic changes that are approaching mankind, are going to be taking place. It has to do with “when” the church age will come to a close and mortal will be putting on immortality, and “when” Jesus will be establishing His Kingdom up in heaven. And it’s a lot closer than we might realize, and prior to the fall Feast Of Trumpets.

(Lets go to Dan 7: 24-25 first please, so we can let the Bible interpret the Bible.

We are cutting in here where the last worldly kingdoms, that are soon to arise, are being talked about.

There are ten Kings or Kingdoms that shall soon arise. And we are going to see that it is during the days of these ten physical Kings that the Kingdom of Heaven will be set up by Jesus.

Dan:7:24: And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be perse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

25: And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the piding of time.

This is prophesy that has not been fulfilled as of yet, but is soon to be.

Now there is a lot of controversy going around over “who” these ten kings will be. Some say it will be ten leaders of the Holy Roman Empire that is soon to emerge on the scene. Others say it is ten leaders who will be over ten different geographical banking districts set up around this world.

Now I cannot tell you for sure which is right or if either is correct. But there is something here that is very important for the church of God to realize, something very important that we can know for sure.

And it has to do with when Jesus will be setting up His Kingdom up in heaven, and when He will be handing out those rewards to His saints up on the sea of glass when the rest of the first fruits will be resurrected and changed from mortal to immortal.

Lets go to Dan 2:44 please, because that verse is very specific concerning “when” these things are going to be taking place.

Lets start in Dan 2:42 where it is speaking of the fragile ten kings that are soon to arise.

Dan:2:42: And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

Dan:2:43: And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

And now verse 44. (Let us read what is going to be taking place during the days of these 10 Kings)

Dan:2:44: And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven “set up a kingdom”, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

“In the days of these Kings” this verse is telling us that during the days of these “Ten kings” shall the God of heaven” “set up a Kingdom.” That word “set up” means = Establish, appoint, make, raise up, to put into effect permanently, to ordain, to appoint, to settle or fix firmly; make permanent.

Brethren, we in the church have been hearing for a long time that the end of this age is near, that Jesus is soon to return, and that we need to be “ready” for “That Day”. Well “That Day” is a lot closer than we might realize. And the time for becoming ready is passing away.

The worldly system that we are living in today is a worldly system that has been molded and fashioned by satan himself, and soon to totally mature and dominate this entire earth, before it is totally destroyed by the coming Kingdom of God.

Brethren, we are presently living in the calm before the storm. Do you know what a washing machine does when it gets out of balance in the spin cycle? You know, when your sitting there and everything seems quiet and going along pretty smoothly, then all of a sudden you hear this tremendous noise and the entire house begins to shake as the washing machine begins to violently creek and crawl across the room as it begins to spin very rapidly out of control totally out of balance?

Don’t wait until the spin cycle of this Totally Unbalanced World starts to violently rotate out of control, to begin paying attention to God and His Word.

(Lets go to Isaiah 3:10 please)

The fruits produced by the worldly system that we are living in is bringing this age to total destruction. But there are people on this earth who do not have to be worried about what is coming.

The book of Isaiah is very clear concerning God’s judgment on His people, and it speaks about a time coming that will be horrendous to say the least. But with God, one can only reap what one sows.

Isa:3:10: Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

But Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

Don’t be fooled by what seems to be a quiet smooth & peaceful world, because it’s not. This is a world where you need locks, body armor and swat teams.

This is a world where there are presently 43 different wars & conflicts going on around this globe. We only hear about Iraq, Afghanistan & the Middle East conflicts, but there are many many more. You can look at a

Web site called “Flash-points” and stay constantly up-dated on all the fighting going on around this world.

Don’t be fooled by what seems to be a nice world out there, this seemingly nice world is just a mirage. It’s a world that was built on Greed and Get. And greed & get is still abounding and has produced much bad fruit, like death & addiction from oxy-cotton and many other money making prescription medications.

(Greed abounds, no matter at who’s expense or who’s lives it ruins or takes.)

It’s a world where 25,000 yes, 25,000 people are dying each day from hunger. Many, if not most in the developed Countries cannot comprehend this because they have never seen it with their own eyes, or felt it in their own bellies.

This present world is what Peter called it, in Act 2:40, an “untoward” world. The Greek means = Spotted, Morally Blemished.

This brings us back to our calling brethren, our calling is to come out of this world. Our calling is to become Unspotted, Unblemished. And we need to do it now, by day 49, while it is still day, while we still have the opportunity.

Noah preached that there was a flood coming for over 100 years, and for over 100 years he was scoffed at.

The inhabitants of the earth back then didn’t believe that the flood was really coming till they found themselves swimming in it.

But do you realize that there opportunity to heed the warning ended before it even began to rain? There opportunity ended a “week” before it even began to rain. It ended when God shut the door of the ark.

You can read that later, it’s all in Genesis chapter 7. But the most important verse is verse 1.

(Lets go there please)

This verse tells us “why” why Noah and his family were spared from the flood.

Gen:7:1: And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

How does He see us brethren? “Righteous” or “Unrighteous”?

Our Creator tells us that this time of trouble that is coming, is going to come in the same exact way as it did in the time of Noah, as a thief in the night upon all the children of disobedience. Upon all those who have not become right with God or obedient to His righteous ways.

This is not the time to be complacent brethren. This is the time to draw closer to our God then ever before.

The church age is coming to a close. This is the time where Jesus Himself questioned if He would even find faith on the earth. Lk:18:8. (Lets go there please)

Lk:18:8: I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find

faith on the earth? Faith has to do with belief brethren. And belief is lacking in this present evil age.

Are you looking for the church where Jesus is working? Are you still looking for the right group with the right man to follow?

The shepherds of the flock have become faithless brethren; they have fed themselves but neglected to feed the flock. They have neglected to strengthen the diseased or heal the sick, instead they have ruled with force and with cruelty, and the flock has become scattered because there is no shepherd.

The sheep have been wandering. Wandering through all the mountains and all the hills, yes they have passed through church group after church group but to no avail. (Ezekiel 34 is speaking to the whole house of God)

The church is at the end of the mail route brethren, Its smack dab in the middle of the City of Laodicea, even Jesus Himself is on the outside. Threatening to spew anyone who is lukewarm, out of His mouth.

But He knocking, He is knocking brethren. He has promised us that He will never leave us or forsake us.

But how about us? Have we left Him? Are our eyes still steadfast on Him? They need to be.

He is the only Shepard now, and He is the best Shepard that the sheep could ever have.

He wants to bring us on to perfection. He wants to finish cleaning us up and scrubbing us down.

Peter, speaking of the return of Jesus says: “Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless 2Pt:3:14.

Paul tells us that Jesus is going to present to himself a gloriouschurch, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Eph:5:27

We cannot afford to be bogged down with the cares of this world.

In Timothy we are told: No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. “2Tm:2:4

Satan knows this, that’s why he has this world of his becoming so complicated & complex and full of sin.

But we have to come out of this world, out of sin. And we have a deadline to do it by brethren. A deadline that is represented by day 49 of the count. (Lets take a look at that in Lev 23:15)

It’s talking about the count here, Count The Cost. Remember, the ‘wave loaves” (us) had to have their nature changed BEFORE they were baked. The baking makes the already changed nature of the dough “permanent”. Once it’s baked, its nature cannot be changed any more. (Once again let me say that if you have not listened to the last message “The End From The Beginning”, pleas do.

Lev:23:15: And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete

16: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days;

That verse is talking about the church brethren, all seven of them. All seven churches have had the same responsibility; to come out of sin and to be Holy, just like Him who has called us is Holy.

That word “Complete” is the same exact word used to describe Jesus Christ. It means unblemished, unspotted. We have to be complete” unblemished, unspotted just like Jesus, just like our example, just like our chief corner stone if we plan to sit with Him on His throne. (Lets take a quick look at that in Rev. 3:21.

To be granted the high positions that we have been call to brethren, to sit with Jesus in His throne, we have to be overcomers, conquerors. And God is no respecter of persons, even Jesus Himself had to overcome before He could sit down with His Father in His throne.

Jesus is speaking to us here, the church at Laodicea.

Rv:3:21: To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Unspotted, unblemished, no lumps or imperfections, and all by day 49. The day the building of the church, the cutting and grinding, and shaping, of the stones (us) will be completed and ready to be brought to the other side (thither) to be erected, set up, established, and part of the Kingdom of God, ready to return to this earth to take total charge of it with our Lord and King Jesus Christ.

Does all this sound impossible brethren? It is impossible with man, in fact by ourselves, we can do nothing.

But it is not impossible with God, if fact it is His plan. And with God “All things are possible”.

By ourselves it would be totally impossible, but we are not by ourselves, not if His Spirit is dwelling in us. When the physical temple was built all the stones were completely cut, shaped, and fashioned down at the quarry, before they were brought to the other side where they would be erected, set up, established, put into place, put into office, put into positions of leadership.

All the chiseling and shaping of the stones has to be completed before they can be brought to the other side to be erected. And as soon as those last stones are completely finished being cut, shaped, sanded and polished, they will be brought over to the other side to be erected into the most beautiful and fantastic Temple that anyone could imagine. And that brethren will be taking place on day 50, our day, the “Last Day” of the count, the Day of Pentecost.

(Lets take a look at that in 1 Kings 6:7)

Just like the wave loaves that will be waved on the “Last Day” day 50. The “Wave Loaves” that represent the church of God, (us) the ones made with the fine flour, the flour that contained no lumps and no imperfections, and how they had to have a completely changed nature, before they were put into the oven and baked and made permanent.

This verse is telling us the same exact thing:

1 Kings 6:7 “And the house (The house of God, the church) when it was in building, was built of stone (us) (we are the stones) made ready (Totally cut, shaped, formed, and polished) (The old sinful nature out, and the new righteous nature in) “made ready” before it was brought thither (To the other side to be erected, assembled, established, set up, glorified)

Brethren, we are talking about the Spiritual Temple here, The Government of God being set up. We are the church, we have been called to be Kings and Priests in that coming Kingdom of God. Do we grasp that?

Do we value our calling?

This evil untoward world is soon to be replaced by the Kingdom of God and will experience 1,000 years of peace and prosperity under the ruler ship of Jesus and His saints.

But before that utopia begins, before all the peace and prosperity begins to abound on this Earth, before the Lions will lie down with the lambs, and before the little children will lead them, like we are told in Isaiah

11:6, represented by the fall feast of Tabernacles, before that peaceful time begins, The Kingdoms of this world are going to be replaced by the Kingdom of God.

And we know from history alone, that changing from any form of Government to another always involves a transitional period, a time when the new rulers have to be placed into office and given their new positions.

And not every change in administration goes smoothly, not every change in Government transpires without a fight, without a struggle or without some trouble.

There is a period of unprecedented change and a time of trouble of unimaginable proportion that is going come upon all of mankind.

And these events that are coming, are going to effect every Town, every Village, every State and Province and Country, and every Nook and Cranny on the face of this entire planet… Bar one, the place often referred to as “The place oafety”. And the only tickets to that place brethren, the only ones that will be going to that place of safety, will be the people that the Lord Himself accounts worthy to be there.

And being found worthy depends totally on how we are conducting our everyday lives now, and how spiritually fit we are. Many people in the world spend much time becoming physically fit, but we need to be spiritually fit as well, to be accounted worthy to escape the coming trouble.

Lets take a quick look at that, lets go to Rev 3:10. Because that one verse tells us a lot concerning who will be escaping the coming tribulation, and why there is a tribulation coming in the first place.

We cannot afford to be lackadaisical or complacent.

Rv:3:10: Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

The Great Tribulation is coming upon the inhabitants of the earth to try them. That word “try” means to test, to examine. The content of the Greek here is said to mean, “To prove that one has been evil” or living contrary to the Word of God.

Most in the world are disobedient to our heavenly Father and living contrary to His ways, to His instructions, to His Word. Instead of being obedient to Him they rather follow the ways of this world, the ways of the evil one, the ways of Satan.

Now those who have been obedient to the Word of God, like it says in this verse, those who have kept His Word, will be kept from the tribulation.

Both of those words “kept” in this verse come from the same exact Greek word, “TEREO” meaning - To guard, to keep the eye upon, to keep watch, to maintain, and to observe, as commands, ordinances and traditions.

Brethren, what our Creator (The One who cannot lie) is telling us here, is that if we keep His ways, if we keep our eye on His Word, and watch and maintain and observe His commandments, He will intern keep His eye on us, and keep us from the coming Great Tribulation. He will keep us from the hour of temptation that “shall come” upon the entire world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. & “Shall Come”, implies certainty.

We covered a lot of ground today brethren. I hope today’s message has helped us realize that we have to ready, prepared and waiting for our Lord and Savior to return, and ready to meet Him in those clouds.

Jesus came to this Earth 2,000 years ago with a message from His father. Jesus came preaching and teaching about the coming Kingdom of God. The Kingdom that will soon be set up and established up in heaven on the sea of glass with His saints; and then will descend and take total charge over every province and town and City and Country on Earth.

Do we believe that brethren? Do we believe that the Kingdom of God is coming to this Earth?

Do we realize that Jesus is soon to establish and set up His Kingdom up in heaven, with His saints?

Are we going to be there? Are we going to be part of the Temple that is soon to be erected, soon to be set up on the other side? Or will we be rejected.

Many are called, but few are chosen brethren. We have been called to be there at that Great Supper. And it is our responsibility to be prepared and ready.

Now there is a way of knowing whether a stone is going to be accepted or rejected. And it’s a fool proof way of knowing, and the same method used by God Himself.

Luke 13 is the parable of the barren fig tree. Maybe we should conclude there today. After all, this is the Feast of Firstfruits, and a good stone can always be known by its fruits.

Lk:13:6: He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

7: Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

8: And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

9: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

We need to be bearing fruit brethren. We need to be bearing much fruit.

If you have been finding yourself going through a lot of dung, maybe there is a good reason for it.

Day 49, the day that pictures the completion of the building of the church of God brethren is rapidly approaching. We need to be ready by that day, unblemished, unspotted and ready to meet our Savior Jesus Christ in the clouds at His return.

Lets just go to just one more place today brethren. Lets take a trip up to that Sea of Glass and have a look and see for ourselves just who will be there. (It’s Rev. 15:2)

Rv:15:2: And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

“Them That Had Gotten The Victory” Those six words come from only one Greek word brethren, “Conqueror” “Overcomer”

That’s who’s going to be there standing on that sea of glass brethren, that’s who’s going to be returning to this earth with the King of Kings, “Them That Had Gotten The Victory”. And we have been given what it takes to be victorious, The Powerful Holy Spirit of God.

Hope to be there with you there brethren.
